Pawel Herczyński: EU Foreign Ministers to discuss situation in Georgia
EU Ambassador to Georgia Pawel Herczyński confirmed that Foreign Ministers of EU member states were slated to meet for a monthly council meeting on June 23 to discuss the situation in Georgia.
According to the Ambassadors, the FMs will likely review three issues:
“The first issue is disinformation campaign waged against the EU, demonization of EU taking place in Georgia on the governmental high-level; second, the opportunity to impose sanctions for the violation of human rights; and third, the privilege of visa-free travel, which is an advantage for Georgian citizens in the aspect of human rights gross violations. But we should wait for Monday,” he said.
