The Patrol Police will be involved in the security monitoring activities at schools – the decision has been made at the meeting between Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Minister of Education and Science.
According to the MIA, a working meeting was held between Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia and Minister of Education and Science, Mikheil Chkhenkeli in connection with the tragedy occurred in Khorava Street.
The ministers agreed to establish an interagency working group that will elaborate a particular plan of crime prevention and fully coordinate the process.
“The group will be mainly focused on to intensify preventive, educative and information activities, anti-violence campaigns, public order and school discipline.
Representatives of the state agencies, NGOs and international organizations working in juvenile justice sphere will also be intensively involved in the working group activity”, – the statement released by MIA reads.
