Patrol Police Chief condemns protesters for using drones to spray paint officers
“It is shameful when protesters use drones to spray paint police officers,” stated Vazha Siradze, the Head of the Patrol Police.
Siradze explained that the police detained protesters who resisted law enforcement and directed insults at officers.
“We have repeatedly urged the participants in the protest and warned them that they were breaking the law. Justice and law must prevail in our country, and everyone is required to comply with legal standards,” he asserted.
In the early morning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) urged protesters and organizers at Tbilisi State University (TSU) to clear the area of any artificial structures within 15 minutes and relocate to another site to express their dissent lawfully. Police subsequently cleared the road and removed several protesters from the location.
