The Georgian parliamentary majority is preparing for overriding the veto of President Giorgi Margvelashvili over the project of new Constitution of Georgia.
The ruling team claims that President added some issues, which are unacceptable to the majority, to the motivated remarks. The opposition shares the remarks.
Giorgi Margvelashvili refused to sign the constitutional amendments and vetoed the project on October 9. He sent it back to the parliament with the attached motivated remarks.
Georgia’s Parliament adopted the constitutional changes bill on September 26 with the third reading.
