The parliamentary majority on Monday held a meeting in the Georgian Dream (GD) office, which was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the GD press office, the meeting covered the President’s veto on the Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence and related issues as well as the topics to be discussed at the upcoming plenary sessions, including the President’s motivated remarks on the Draft Law On Amendments to the Tax Code of Georgia; On top of that, the draft laws related to the European Commission’s nine recommendations, among them, the amendments to the laws On General Courts, Anti-corruption Bureau, Special Investigation Service, and On Personal Data Protection, which will be adopted in the third reading.
Moreover, the Parliament will hear the reports from the Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture, Otar Shamugia, Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Health, Labour and Social Affairs, Mikheil Sarjveladze and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Levan Davitashvili.
