Parliament Vice Speaker: Georgia fully shares world messages against Russia
“Georgia fully shares the world messages against Russia,” said the member of the Parliamentary Delegation, Vice-Speaker Levan Ioseliani at the PACE autumn session in Strasbourg.
Ioseliani delivered a speech and dwelt on Russian aggression, stressing the UN Resolution of October 9, 2022, and stated that Russia takes the wrong side of history and only five countries did not approve the resolution.
He reminded the Assembly members that Georgia has already been through Russian aggression and the Georgian population supports the UN and CoE resolution.
According to him, for a country that has been exposed to Russian aggression and annexation of the territories, it is impossible not to share the world’s messages against Russia. He touched upon the EU integration of Georgia noting that the will of the Georgian population to be an integral part of Europe is invincible.
