Parliament to discuss MP mandate termination to 3 lawmakers, former Speaker

Georgian parliament will discuss termination of MP mandates to three lawmakers, Lelo party’s Badri Japaridze, Droa leader Elene Khoshtaria and Labor Party leader Shalva Natelashvili, as well as former Speaker Kakha Kuchava, who quit post, next week as part of the spring session.

The Procedural Affairs Committee will hold a sitting regarding three opposition MPs on January 31.

According to Guram Macharashvili, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Elene Khoshtaria and Shalva Natelashvili did not attend any of the sittings of the parliament’s 10th convention. Court’s guilty verdict is the ground for MP mandate termination in case of Lelo’s Badri Japaridze.
