Parliament Speaker urges all political parties for unity over Georgia’s EU accession
Georgian Parliament Speaker called on all political parties to support and stand with the Georgian government to unite efforts around one standpoint on Georgia’s EU accession.
“It is crucial that all political forces shared the path and choice made by Georgian people and inked in the Constitution,” Shalva Papuashvili said at the Bureau sitting.
Parliament Speaker emphasized that everybody should take responsibility and engage in the reforms required by the EU membership. Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili signed Georgia’s application for EU membership on March 3.
