Parliament Speaker to visit Malta, Italy

The Georgian parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Shalva Papuashvili will visit Malta and Italy on May 7-12.

The Parliament Speaker will hold meetings with the Parliament Speaker and the President of Malta as well as Foreign and European Affairs Committee members.

The meetings are planned with the Prefect of the Dicastery of the Eastern Churches and the Secretary of State of the Holy See in the Vatican Apostolic Palace.

The delegation will meet with the Chairman of the Italian Parliament’s Lower House, Lorenzo Fontana, the Vice President of the Senate, Gian Marco Centinaio, the Minister of European Affairs of the Republic of Italy, Raffaele Fitto, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Edmondo Cirielli.

Meetings will be held with members of the Italy-Georgia parliamentary friendship group and representatives of the Georgian diaspora.
