Parliament Speaker, MPs visit Ukrainian citizens in Georgia

Georgian Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili and MPs Levan Ioseliani, Maka Botchorishvili and Givi Mikanadze visited the Ukrainian citizens in Georgia.

The Parliament’s press office said the Ukrainian citizens, visiting Georgia for the pilgrimage in the Georgian Churches, Monasteries and Sanctities cannot now fly back as the flights are cancelled due to the military actions in Ukraine. The Georgian Government provided them with accommodation in the hotels.

MPs overviewed the situation in Ukraine and delivered the gifts on behalf of the Parliament to the guests. The Speaker expressed his intact support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, the press statement reads.
