“I hope you will come back to Georgia and support Georgia from Ukraine. I wish Ukraine victory,” Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili made the remarks at the parliament, which hosted Ukrainian youngsters.
Shalva Papuashvili expressed confidence that the days spent by Ukrainian youngsters in Georgia will be unforgettable, establishing the groundwork for a strong friendship. Children learned about Georgian culture, traditions, and historical monuments.
Vice Speaker Archil Talakvadze commended RADA lawmaker Lyudmila Marchenko for organizing the trip to Georgia for Ukrainian youngsters. The Parliament Speaker emphasized that “friendship between the Georgian and Ukrainian parliaments is a powerful diplomatic instrument besides the personal bond.”
Ukrainian children toured the Georgian parliament and received symbolic gifts.
