Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili echoed the recent developments in Israel describing them as “unjustified, brutal, and inhumane aggression.”
In a Twitter statetement tagging the Speaker of the Parliament of Israel (Knesset), Amir Ohana, Shalva Papuashvili said Georgian people supported brotherly Israel.
“Unjustified, brutal, and inhumane aggression against the State of Israel will not stand. Georgian people support brotherly Israel. There should be no place for such violence in the world,” he tweeted.
Hamas has launched more than 5,000 rockets from Gaza at Israel and kidnapped the bodies of Israeli soldiers killed in clashes on the border on Saturday, the Islamist group’s military wing said, as Israel declared a state of war alert. At least 22 people were killed and over 100 injured in the shelling.
