Georgian Parliament will reconvene for the spring session on the first Tuesday of the next month, i.e. February 7, based on the Standing Orders of the supreme legislative body.
The Parliament will have to make many key decisions following the EC’s proposed 12-point priorities, including the new public defender’s appointment and endorsement of a deoligarchization law.
The Prime Minister, the Head of the State Security Service, the National Bank of Georgia President, and the Public Defender will all provide reports before Parliament. During the Ministerial Hour, parliamentarians will use the interpellation format and ask questions to cabinet officials.
The spring session will close at the end of June.
