Parliament plans to establish three Public Legal Entities

The Georgian parliament plans to establish three Public Legal Entities. Based on the information of First Channel, National Library, Heraldic Council and Research Department will be separate organizations.

Tamar Chugoshvili, First Vice Speaker of the Parliament, who is the author of the proposed changes in the regulations, claims that the decision will not be related to additional expenses. “All these institutions should have a certain form,” she said.

Chugoshvili explained that a public legal entity is a separate organization from the legislative and governmental rule, which, with state control, carries out political, social, educational cultural or other activities.
