Parliament to approve the order of the President

The President of Georgia, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Georgian Armed Forces Giorgi Margvelashvili issued a decree on the use of Georgian military forces in response to the emergency situation caused by natural disasters in Mestia municipality in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.
In accordance to the Constitution of Georgia, Parliament will have to approve the order of the President.
According to the Parliament of Georgia, at 17:30 the special session will be held in the Parliament in order to discuss president’s decree.
