Opposition MPs demand facts-finding commission into GD Chair's property

Thirty-five MPs of the parliamentary opposition demand the establishment of the interim facts-finding commission on the property of Irakli Garibashvili, former PM and current Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party.

MPs Tamar Kordzaia, Levan Bezhashvili, Aleko Elisashvili, Tako Charkviani, Teona Akubardia and Keti Turazashvili jointly briefed about the issue.

According to Tamar Kordzaia, the opposition has collected enough signatures. The MP wants the GD to say if it is ready to speak about the corruption problems’ resolution, the commitment which the government had taken before the EU.
