Opposition likely to win in an Iranian parliamentary election

Candidates from the opposition parties are expected to win in an Iranian parliamentary election.

Reuters says, opposition candidates in the 290-seat parliament currently hold 178 seats.

Repeat vote will be held in April, at several polling stations where candidates could not receive 20% of the vote.

The final results of the elections will be announced on February 24.
