One person detained on charge of family violence crime

Officers of Kvemo Kartli Regional Police Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a person born in 1982 through operative-investigation activities in Teleti on charge of family violence related crime.

Investigation determined that the detainee inflicted a wound to a mother with a knife on January 8 following a verbal conflict. The woman was transferred to a hospital. Her health condition is stable. The crime envisages from 3 to 6 years in prison.
