One case of re-infection with coronavirus has been confirmed in Georgia, said Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health (NCDC) during a press briefing following the Interagency Coordination Council meeting.
According to the NCDC Head, a middle-age patient was confirmed with the virus after a 3-month interval. “The case is the mutation of one of the same stain with minor changes,” Gamkrelidze claimed.
