Ombudsman's medical council members visit Mikheil Saakashvili

The medical council members, set up by the Public Defender, on Sunday, visited jailed ex-president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili at the Vivamed Clinic.

Vivamed’s clinical director Zurab Chkhaidze said there was no disagreement among colleagues on the treatment plan or the present assessment.

According to him, Saakashvili’s health remains unchanged.

“There were no notable changes. There was no change in neurological or other physiological signs. Periodically, there is a temperature response. Family members say different things about weight, but the truth is different, and talking about weight is exhausting and dull,” Chkhaidze stated.
