NZ's PM initiates a four-day work week

The Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern is taking the initiative to introduce a four-day work week.

Jacinda Ardern said, “a long weekend would allow New Zealanders to travel more around the country and boost the economy while the nation’s borders remain closed.”

The PM made the comments during a Facebook live chat and “encouraged employers to think about that.”

Jacinda Ardern is the nation’s most popular leader. Especially during the virus outbreak. She was praised for the results in the fight against COVID-19. New Zealand reported 1503 cases of the novel virus. 21 patients died so far.
