No expertise of Vake Park fountain works conducted by National Forensic Bureau
Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau said in a statement that the agency did not carry out any expertise of the works carried out at the Vake Park fountain, which claimed the life of 13-year-old Marita Meparishvili on October 13.
The Forensic Bureau is engaged in the ongoing investigation. It expressed condolences to the family of the teen.
“The National Bureau is currently involved in the investigative activities. Appropriate examinations have been scheduled,” reads the statement.
Three minors were electrocuted while attempting to retrieve a ball that had fallen into the Vake Park fountain on October 13. One died, while two were hospitalized.
