Nika Gvaramia: Process is going well. President's role is invaluable

The leader of a new political alliance called ‘Ahali’ (Georgian – ახალი, meaning ‘new’), Nika Gvaramia, met with the Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Monday.

Gvaramia said, “The process is going very well, the President’s initiative is timely, correct and very rational.”

“It is a process of determining the best formula to ensure societal stability,” he said following the meeting.

“We are prepared to lead the country out of the crisis without arguments or conflict. We owe it to our voters and future generations. The President’s role is invaluable in this regard, and I am grateful to her for taking on such a responsibility,” Gvaramia remarked.

President Zourabichvili is holding consultations with opposition parties at the Orbeliani Palace.
