Supported by the Georgian National Wine Agency and organized by the American contractor marketing company, Colangelo & Partners, a large-scale Georgian wine-testing event was held in New York.
Approximately 400 wine professionals, media and commercial sector representatives attended the event. They participated in tasting over 30 varieties of Georgian wines, master classes and familiarized themselves with Georgian wine-making history culture and industry development.
“Events of a similar format contribute to increasing awareness and sales of Georgian wine in the US, which has been a strategic market for Georgian wines since 2013.
In January-August of this year, Georgia exported up to 900,000 litres of wine to the USA, which makes an increase of 66% compared to the same period of last year,” the Agency said.
