NBG, Elevandi sign Cooperation Memorandum

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) and Elevandi Company within the framework of the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Georgia.

At the meeting of NBG Acting President Natia Turnava with Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief Fintech Officer at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the sides discussed joint projects and activities, which will be oriented on the Fintech industry in the region.

Sopnendu Mohanty remarked that he viewed Georgia as a Fintech hub of the region and pledged support in the development of financial technologies.

With the support of Elevandi, seminars and training will be organized for the popularization of the Fintech ecosystem. Round-table discussions and forums will be arranged unifying regulators, policy-makers and branch leaders.
