“The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) continues to work intensively with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to restore the temporarily suspended program as soon as possible,” said the NBG Acting President Natia Turnava at the meeting with Bo Li, IMF Deputy Managing Director.
The parties discussed the implementation of the recommendations to restore and complete the IMF-supported Standby Arrangement (SBA) program shortly and pledged to continue cooperation.
The NBG and the IMF have successfully cooperated since 1991.
