The National Food Agency of Georgia has issued a statement on the product export. In a statement, the agency said that it had been working intensively for years to increase the export of Georgian agricultural products to the world markets.
The agency noted that both relevant state agencies and well-known international marketing companies were involved in this process.
“The National Food Agency negotiates with many countries. The negotiations have been underway with the Russian Federation since 2020. As a result, the export of Georgian livestock products has been allowed to Russia and other countries.
In addition, within the EU Association Agreement, intensive work is underway to introduce standards and rules that allow the export of Georgian livestock products to the EU countries,” the statement said.
