National Environment Agency projects rain in western Georgia

The National Environment Agency warns the population about the expected weather.

Forecasters predict that rain will continue in the Adjara, Guria, and Imereti regions until the second half of October 14, with lightning, hail, and stronger winds likely.

“The expected precipitations may increase the water levels on the small rivers of Western Georgia, and trigger the initiation and activation of landslides in the hilly and mountainous areas (threat level medium)”, the Agency added.
