National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement becomes ENQA member
The Georgian National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement becomes a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).
A special activity is being held in Tbilisi on this occasion. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mikheil Batiashvili, representatives of Diplomatic Corps and international donor organizations, education experts and rectors of high educational institutions are participating in the activity.
The Presidium of ENQA made the decision about membership of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement on April 25 during the 9th annual forum held in Tallinn, Estonia. The National Center will officially become ENQA member in autumn.
According to the Ministry of Education, as per the Georgia-EU Association Agreement, Georgia took the obligation to bring the country’s high educational system in line with the European High Educational Space.
