Natia Turnava: Tourism sector will be fully exempt from property taxes in 2021

The tourism sector will be fully exempt from property taxes in 2021, – Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said after the sitting of the interagency council of the government.

According to the Minister, the companies working in the tourism sector will benefit from other tax exemptions in 2021.

“The tourism sector, which has suffered the most during this difficult period, will be fully exempt from property taxes in 2021. It should also be noted that within the framework of the program Enterprise Georgia during this period we subsidized the interest on bank loans of 2,200 small and family hotels. We have decided to expand the co-financing program and add restaurants, to which we will subsidize the bank loan interest for six months, ” – said Natia Turnava.
