We prolong the restrictions on international regular flights in August, but we will allow specific flights according to safe corridors, – said the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava.

The Minister also spoke about the resumption of operations of the low-cost airlines “Wizz Air” and “Ryanair” and noted that negotiations are underway to agree on the optimal number of flights, which will be commercially profitable for companies and will not harm the country epidemiologically.

“We work with them to get the optimal number of flights, which will be commercially profitable for them, and neither of us will be harmed epidemiologically”- said Natia Turnava.

According to the Minister, if the mentioned companies have any questions, they will apply directly to the Ministry as communication problems do not exist.
