Banks have expressed readiness to reconsider the issue of loan restructuring for the tourism sector, – the Minister of Economy of Georgia, Natia Turnava said at a briefing after the government session.

“Yesterday my colleagues and I held an online meeting with leading banks and their top management. We talked about the possibility of restructuring loans for the tourism sector and small hotels. I am glad that the banks have expressed their readiness. Of course, taking into account each specific case, because circumstances are important for the bank. In general, there is a readiness for the banks to be ready to reconsider the restructuring of the loan in case of applications from hotels,” – Natia Turnava said.
