Anyone who saw Davit Kirkitadze’s actions yesterday, should not be surprised if the investigation became interested in him, – Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Natia Mezvrishvili stated about it.

As Deputy Minister noted, MIA studied all videos and information that was spread in connection with Velistsikhe incident in order to give a legal assessment to each action.

“The Minister of Internal Affairs stated that the case will be legally assessed and all responsible persons will be brought to justice. We have already identified all individuals, some of them will be summoned to the investigative body, if the relevant legal framework is identified, the compulsory measures will be taken”, – Natia Mezvrishvili said.

As Deputy Minister stated, after yesterday’s developments, nobody should have questions, why the investigation became interested in Davit Kirkitadze.

Davit Kirkitadze has released information that the police have been mobilized near his house this morning. Kirkitadze participated in the confrontation that occurred between “National Movement” members and law enforcers in Velistsikhe village, Gurjaani district yesterday.
