Natela Machavariani to head President’s Fund

Natela Machavariani will head Georgian President’s Fund – Khatia Moistsrapishvili, Press Speaker of President Salome Zurabishvili told journalists.

The fund of Georgian President was established on January 30. The fund will direct its activities for the attraction of financial resources for implementation of educational, scientific and innovation projects.

“This will a charity fund and every person will be able to make donations,” Moistsrapishvili stated. She added that the activities will be transparent and the information about management and allocation of money will be accessible to everybody.

The salary of Georgian President comprising the period from December 17 to present in the amount of 8 280 GEL is already transferred to the fund.
