Multinational military drills Eternity 2024 complete

The multinational commandment-headquarter military drills Eternity 2024 have been completed. Georgian, Azerbaijani and Turkish soldiers implemented various tasks. Units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) also participated.

Following demonstrative training, the guests relocated to the Krtsanisi Simulation, Communication and Information Systems Center and attended the summarizing briefing.

Deputy Defense Minister Paata Patiashvili, Deputy Chief of Defense Forces, General Irakli Chichinadze and Turkish Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbai addressed the drill participants and congratulated them on the successful completion of the course.

The Eastern Commandment of the Georgian Defense Forces organized the exercises. The scenario was based on peace operations, namely the security defence of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline during crisis situations.
