Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election did not find that any U.S. or Trump campaign officials conspired with Russia. US President Donald Trump’s campaign did not conspire with Russia during the 2016 election, – a summary of Robert Mueller’s report says.
“Mueller did not find adequate evidence to show that Trump’s campaign conspired with Russians who sought to meddle in the election”, – Attorney General William Barr said. But Barr said that Mueller did not take a clear position on whether Trump obstructed justice. There was, he adds, insufficient evidence “to establish that the president committed an obstruction-of-justice offence”.
