MP Shalva Papuashvili said opponents still have time to decide whether they stand on the side of democracy or anti-democracy.
“So, they have to decide until tomorrow. We also have to discuss the responsive political and procedural act that will give our opponents less opportunity to damage a democratic institution, the parliament,” Papuashvili said.
MP believes boycotting the parliament work is a destructive act.
“We said many times that the Georgian Dream has more options for action than the opponents. Therefore, we will choose the optimal one,” MP added.
Georgian Parliament of the 10th Convocation will discuss the termination of parliamentary authority to fifty-one members of the opposition on February 2. Fifty-one opposition MPs refused to enter the Parliament as they believe elections were a fraud.
Earlier, Parliament terminated the parliamentary authority for the Alliance of Patriots members Irma Inashvili, Giorgi Lomia, and Gocha Tevdoradze. However, other members on the party list, Fridon Injia, Gela Mikadze, and Davit Zilpimiani, took up those seats by replacement.
