MP Nato Chkheidze says that attack on “Iberia” TV is excluded

MP Nato Chkheidze, a member of the parliamentary faction “Patriots” commented on the statement made by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and claimed that any attempt of blackmailing with the media is excluded.

Chkheidze told journalists that “Iberia” TV was an independent and free television company, which covered events based on facts. She claimed that the parliament, government and court had the information about developments around “Omega” Group.

Head of Information Service of “Iberia” TV released a special statement on February 20. The statement said that “Omega” Group and its companies turned out under serious financial attack.
