MP Botchorishvili: No change from U.S. on dinner invitation; this actions undermine strategic partnership

“It was a frivolous move by the United States,” stated Maka Botchorishvili, the Georgian Dream party member.

“In just one day, nothing changed—neither an invitation was sent nor withdrawn.” She expressed concern that such actions hinder the development of a true partnership.

“We cannot view this as a serious gesture. It merely provides the opposition with a fleeting agenda. Recent actions have only served to undermine our strategic partnership.

For us, our relationship with America is invaluable, and these steps do not strengthen it; in fact, they seem to aim at weakening it,” Botchorishvili added.
