Moambe celebrates its 51st jubilee

Moambe News Program of First Channel celebrates its 51st jubilee today. Moambe was established on January 4, 1968 – the editorial board, headed by Tamaz Khomeriki, launched the first daily news program “Moambe”.

A half-hour program covered events in Georgia and throughout the Soviet Union.

Moambe was the only news program in Georgia during the years. That’s why the unique footage is stored in broadcaster’s archive.
