I am returning – Mikheil Saakashvili, former President of Georgia and Chairman of Executive Committee of Reforms Council of Ukraine said.

Saakashvili said in a video address posted on the social network that there had not been a single day for the last 7 years when he had not thought about Georgia. He apologized to Georgian people for the committed mistakes and said that now he knew better how to serve Georgia.

According to Saakashvili, Ukraine was his second homeland, which accepted him as he is, unconditionally.

“I am thankful for my fate that gave me the opportunity to reconsider many issues. Now I know better how to serve our country and how to evade mistakes. There were many and grave mistakes but God knows that I wanted all the best for my people. I wanted my people to live better, wealthier,” Saakashvili said.

Former President said that he was grateful to Georgian people who made him a participant of the successful history of Georgian statehood’s building.

“When I listen to Georgian news, I know for sure that we can live better, and every Georgian can be rich, we can do this together! I am returning!” Saakashvili claimed.
