Mikheil Saakashvili - Georgian gov't should suspend flights to and from Iran
“The Georgian government should suspend flights to and from Iran,” former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said.
Saakashvili in his Facebook video called on the Georgian government to take steps to prevent the threat of the novel coronavirus.
“Don’t call me xenophobic and other nonsenses as this concerns all of us. We have active air travel with Iran. Lots of Iranian citizens visit Georgia, and Georgians visit Iran. Therefore, the government should immediately suspend flights to and from Iran. This concerns the citizens of other countries, coming from Iran to Georgia,” Mikheil Saakashvili stated.
