Mikheil Janelidze - Diaspora Representatives will get information about programs in Georgia with a special application

In 2017, important steps have been taken in direction to the relation with diaspora. This year we have developed a strategy for diaspora policy, – Mikhail Janelidze, Minister of Foreign Affairs made the regarding statement at the joint sitting of the Parliamentary Committees.

According to the Minister the program was developed by participation of the relevant committee and the diaspora organizations.

“It is very important that we have the specific projects relevant to this strategy with a defined budget. Now our priority is to implement them”, – Mikhail Janelidze said.

Vice Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs says that one of the main priorities is to engage Georgian diaspora in country’s development process.

“Representatives of Diaspora will get information about current programs in Georgia with a special application”, – Minister added.
