MIA says TV Pirveli reporter made a false 112 call

Public Relations Strategy Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the journalist of TV Pirveli made a false 112 call regarding the quarrel.

According to the statement, when the police arrived on the scene, journalist Tamta Dolenjashvili told them she had “conducted an experiment on Shakarashvili case.”

“Apart from the civic responsibility and media standard, while a citizen is making a false call, he/she should take into account that someone else may really need emergency help at the very time,” the statement reads.
