Ministry of Internal Affairs published the receipt of the administrative fine imposed on Russian journalist Vladimir Pozner. According to the Ministry, the Patrol Police fined 32 people for violating the rules of isolation and quarantine.

“Misinformation is spread by various media sources that MIA did not fine individuals who arrived in Georgia on March 31 and violated the rules of isolation and quarantine.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs published the receipt of the administrative fine considering high public interest. Patrol Police Department fined 32 people for violating the rules of isolation and quarantine,” the statement reads.

Russian journalist Vladimir Pozner and his guests have left Georgia today.  Journalist Pozner arrived in Georgia on March 31 to mark his birthday. Russian journalist told Russian news agency RIA Novosti, he planned to stay in Georgia till April 3 but left the country early due to the developments. Activists and opposition leaders first rallied outside the Vinotel Hotel, where the journalist and his guests were having dinner. The opposition supporters claimed Pozner and his guests had violated travel restrictions.
