MIA opens investigation into damage of Gigi Ugulava’s banner in Vani

Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) opened an investigation into damaging fact of the banner of Gigi Ugulava, Majoritarian (single mandate) MP candidate in Vani election constituency of Imereti region.

The charge envisages prison term from 1 to 3 years in prison. The face of Ugulava is cut out from the banner.

Parliamentary by-elections are underway in Vani and Khoni, covering the territories of the municipalities. Six candidates are running in the elections.

  4. “New Christian-Democrats” – Mamuka Tuskadze

  6. Initiative Group (Sopio Meshveliani, Shorena Jurkhadze, Vazha Kopaliani, Tamar Kukhalashvili, Marina Chagunava ) – Vasil Kopaliani
