MIA officers engage in holding UEFA Euro 2024 safely

Ten employees of the Patrol Police Department assisted German police officers in effective communication with Georgian fans and in maintaining law and order at the airports and railway stations of different cities daily.

The delegation of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) was invited to Germany at the initiative of the German Federal Interior and Public Affairs Ministry and the Federal Police.

The Georgian delegation participated in the protection and provision of security measures for the UEFA European Football Championship 2024, from June 14 to June 30, 2024, based on the joint declaration signed between the Georgian and German Interior Ministries.

Ten employees of the Patrol Police Department of the MIA departed for Germany on June 8. They underwent training at the Bamberg Training Center on June 10-13 together with other police officers from different countries.
