Ministry of Internal Affairs will protect the right to freedom of expression of every citizen participating in May 17 activities – Londa Toloraia, Director of Human Rights Department said during the briefing held at MIA.
According to Toloraia, a meeting was held between representatives of ministry and non-governmental organizations. “Ministry of Internal Affairs serves as guarantor of public security, and will protect rights of every citizen regardless of race, language, sex, age, religion, and political belief, ethnic or social background, property owning or social status,” Toloraia stated.
