MIA makes explanation regarding video fines

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia makes explanation regarding the video fines.

Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds the citizens that receipts will be considered as received by the penalized person on the 30^th day after its publication on website police.ge.

The person, who violates the law, will also receive instant SMS upon detection of the penalty. If the fine is not paid within 10-day term, the receipt will be sent to the residence address based on the registration place of the person. In case of double delivery fail, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia will publish receipt on the official website: www.police.ge. On the 30^th day after its publication receipts will be considered as received.

According to the new rule, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has started publishing video fine receipts on the Ministry’s official web page.
