1 044 people died of coronavirus in Mexico in the last 24 hours, 5 343 new cases of the virus detected.

Mexico’s coronavirus cases stand at 180 545. The virus-related death toll has reached 21 825.

The government of Mexico has said the actual number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the confirmed case.
